Jillian King

Jillian has been drawing and painting since childhood and is currently working on nostalgic Kiwiana paintings that show life pre-Covid in happier days with people on beaches, buildings that are no longer here and various other New Zealand scenes. She also paints flowers as their beauty deserves to be preserved on canvas.
Colour is important to Jillian as can be seen in all her work. Jillian is currently painting in oils however her earlier paintings were in watercolour which is still a real love.
Jillian has been involved in several exhibitions and is an award winning artist. Her painting of two little boys fishing won the portraiture award at an Auckland Gallery.
